有鑒於此，DB沙板台灣團隊將推出一系列的選手專題報導，透過專題的介紹與講解，帶領大家認識全世界各地的選手。拓展視野，也就是說，坐在電腦前的您，將有機會見識到世界上其他的沙板玩家，看到更多的招式與風格。最重要的是，希望能為您帶來啓發，甚至也能開發出自己的新玩法。
廢話不多說，專題報導的第一位選手，就帶點私心，介紹同是DB沙板選手Ruei最近很喜歡的一位玩家。就是位於美國東部Southwick的Matt Flood. 身為DB美東代表的Matt，是在2009年加入DB沙板選手團隊的。在這三年的時間中，Matt一直將自己的技巧磨鍊到極限。慣用腳為goofy的他，目前已經能做出3 shuv it switch的動作。其他的一些no comply技巧也是最近Matt練習的重點。影片中不時也能看他做出乾淨俐落的180 shuv it.
在沙板運動推廣方面，Matt一直也是不遺餘力。除了在2010年有舉辦過美東第一屆的DB沙板比賽之外，也定時在自己youtube上分享沙板教學影片。從最基本的ollie豚跳到3 shuv it都有涵蓋。同時，Matt也拍攝了一系列的沙板短片，做了一個名為Making it happen的mini movie.
除了沙板技巧之外，根據Ruei本人的轉述，Matt的影片編輯剪接風格也是引人注目的部份，隨著時間的累積，沙板技巧的精進，與新設備的添購。Matt的影片更顯成熟！！

As an innovator and a leader in the skimboarding area, DB Skimboards is always searching gifted and talented team rider all over the world. Not only increase the product's exposure but also push the skimboarding sport into next level by rider's interflow and competition.
according to this, DB Skimboards Taiwan are going to post a series blog posts about those riders. through those posts, our reader can have more chance to see the riders around the world. knowing their tricks, styles. More importantly, by doing this, you can even make your own trick lab. Develop your own.
Our first Rider is Matt Flood who lives in the east of America. in 2009, Matt officially being a part of DB's team. since than, Matt continuously push his own limited in skimboarding. As a goofy, now he can do a 3 shuv it in swith side. Not even to mention the no comply trick that he had been working on.
in the skimboarding promoting, Matt also put a lot effort on it. The first annual east coast skim comp, the skimboarding trick 101 and the "making it happen" mini movie. all of all are the works that Matt contribute to skimboarding.
